Cytopathologists diagnose disease by analyzing cells which are scraped, exfoliated or aspirated from a wide range of sites in the body. The development of techniques such as flow cytometry and immunohistochemistry has made cytology increasingly valuable as a rapid, cost-effective diagnostic tool. We've developed these pages to help you navigate this exciting and diverse field.
