Brian (short Bio) was honored by being named  "UTH Medical School Outstanding Employee of the Month  for August, 1999. His primary area of research involves second messenger systems in isolated heart cells and works with Dr. Roger Bick in various other areas of basic science research. He works with various investigators, researchers and students as supervisor of  The Fluorescence Imaging Center. Brian also assists first year medical students during the fall semester in the laboratory of the Histology course.
