User Room Policies

The User Room (2.286) is for the use of DPALM faculty, staff and students. The Department provides several common-use PCs installed with Department Standard Software. In addition, there is a networked printer to provide print capabilities for DPALM users. As with all networked PCs, access to network servers and networked printers is limited to DPALM users who have a valid username and password.

The installation of unauthorized software (non-departmental) is prohibited. Any discovered unauthorized software will be removed. All user-created files must be stored on a network drive. Any user-created files found on the local hard drives will be removed without warning. All files are subject to deletion, without warning, at any time.

The room is equipped with a combination lock. The combination is the same used for all DPALM common areas. Please turn off the light and shut the door if you leave the room unattended after hours.
