I am seeking a postdoctoral fellow to study the mechanisms of recombination
and gene regulation in the vls antigenic variation system of Borrelia
burgdorferi, the Lyme disease spirochete. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree,
extensive research experience, and publications in international journals
(e.g. ASM journals) are required. Preference will be given to individuals
with experience and publications in the areas of recombination mechanisms,
DNA structure, protein-DNA interactions, or gene regulation. Interested
individuals should send a CV, a letter summarizing research experience and
career goals, and the names and addresses of three references to the email
or mail address below.
Thanks,
